Using the book Daniel Finds a Poem as inspiration, young people understand how poetry can be found in everyday life through the practice of noticing, listening, and reflecting. Learning these practices and skills are building blocks for shaping and contributing to belonging in their communities. Youth then identify a place where they personally feel belonging and transform that feeling into art and words by creating their own Belonging Poetry Postcard.
