Hollywood Squares is a television game show that was launched in the 1960s and has remained popular in various formats to this day. In this activity, students replace the celebrities with characters from literature, and they answer questions about their books. This activity uses an enjoyable premise to build knowledge and awareness of literature. It may inspire students to delve further into reading.
