Students explore the Cold War through the experiences of life in Berlin, Germany. Students divide into 2 teams separated by a “wall.” Each team reads a book about the Berlin Wall and illustrates what they imagine life was like in Berlin, based on the books. Student teams then “smuggle” their work across the wall.
