The United States is one of the largest countries in the world, as well as one of the most diverse. Its land includes wide plains, hills and mountains, expansive deserts, and dense forests. The land also shapes its people, many of whom are immigrants from other countries of the world. In this activity, students will research and then act out characters from many places in the United States. They will discover the diversity and majesty of their country and its people. They also may glimpse some of the reasons for the divisions that Americans face.
