Students in grades 3-5 are familiar with completing school assignments of varying difficulty and complexity. They recognize that some assignments are easy to complete, others take an extra effort or revision to get right, and some involve many trials and failures before finally achieving success. In this activity, students discover that the same range of efforts are necessary in the business world, too. They model the job of finding cover photos for 3 books, each to satisfy a different client ,and discover how the opinions and feedback of a client affect a task.
