We are excited to partner with Mizzen to provide valuable STEM education and learning resources for the educators and students in area school districts.

We're serious about STEM

MidAmerica has created a STEM Alliance which includes in-school and out-of-school opportunities designed to engage young people in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics learning activities. We believe that these opportunities help area students discover interest, aptitude and develop a vision for their futures.

In-School STEM Labs

MidAmerica has invested almost $3 million in area school districts to provide diverse STEM learning experiences. These labs meet the students where they are, serve hundreds of students year after year.

Out-of-School STEM

MidAmerica has established a variety of STEM learning opportunities for out-of-school time. From robotics, bikes, fishing and more, we seek ways to leverage the interest of young people and engage them in valuable experiences.

Post Secondary

MidAmerica has created post-secondary education and training programs that are aligned with in-demand, high-wage STEM careers located at the Park, and beyond. High school internships and work experience ensure continued connections.

For this module, students will be combining everything they have learned about urban forests, biodiversity, and climate change to create an action plan to improve or create a community green space.
