In this activity, students use online photos as prompts to write a story with a partner. First, they access the links in the included resource sheet to look at photos of people and places, choosing 1 place and at least 1 of the people as the setting and character(s). Then, they write their story, incorporating these elements. Finally, students reconvene as a whole group to read and discuss their work.
